Official Rules
Qualification Schedule: Qualification rounds will be held on Saturdays (November 7, November 14, and November 21) between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Entry & Donut Purchase: Competitors must purchase their own donuts for all qualification rounds.
Unlimited Attempts: Competitors may attempt the qualification round as many times as they like during official qualification hours to achieve a higher donut count.
Time Limit & Monitoring: Competitors will have 5 minutes to consume as many donuts as possible. All attempts will be strictly timed and monitored by Appleland staff.
Completion Criteria: Donuts must be completely swallowed to count toward the total.
Permitted Beverages: Competitors may purchase one of the following beverages to assist during their 5-minute attempt:
1 Cup Cider
1 Yacht Club Soda
1 Joe Tea
1 Bottle Poland Spring Water
1 Bottle Gatorade
Retention Rule: A competitor’s final donut count will only be validated and recorded if all consumed donuts remain kept down.
Finals Qualification: The top 6 competitors with the highest qualification counts will be invited back on Saturday, November 28 for the Head-to-Head Final Round to determine the official Appleland Donut Lord of the Year.
Final Round Entry: There is no charge for the top 6 competitors participating in the Final Round.
Prizes: Prize details for the Final Round will be officially announced on November 18. All top 6 finalists will receive a prize.
